Lothar who?

I started my creative career as a musician and composer. It made me end up in an indie band called Seesaw. And in a music video wearing a bunny costume (watch here). So in 2001 I decided to maybe also go for a “real” job. So I entered the advertising business instead. Which I did as a copywriter for Young & Rubicam where I worked for brands like Schweppes, Entega Energy, the Mexican Tourism Board ...
In 2006 I joined Philipp und Keuntje in Hamburg to breath some independent agency spirit. I worked on clients like Deutsche Telekom, New Yorker and Astra – and on my immune system due to the Hamburg weather.
From Hamburg I took a move to Ogilvy & Mather Frankfurt where I became a creative director. Today I lead a multi discipline team of copywriters, art directors, UX and design people from pretty much all over the world. We are working for brands like Coca-Cola Company, Schöffel Outdoor Gear, Rotkäppchen, Radeberger or Deutsche Bahn. Creating brand experiences along the complete customer journey. Based on consumer insights, mindsets, needs and data – made to attach people's hearts AND minds as close as possible to the brand.
Over the time I have won more than 150 national and international awards. Including five Cannes Lions – and a bunch of Cannes shortlists plus metal and shortlists from Clio to Webby Award. Oh, and I won two Effies as well.

I am ...

A member of the Art Directors Club for Germany (ADC)

#6 in the Lürzer's ranking copywriters/Germany (Is anybody still reading Lürzer's?)

#12 in the Lürzer's ranking creative directors/Germany

MEANDER … my personal Songwriter project.

And despite all this glory I consider myself being a nice and embracing guy. Ask me for a beer!
